What will I be doing at Ather? 

  • Checking & verifying supplier invoices and ensuring timely payment to vendors
  • ECR/ECN Management- Ensure supplier delivery parts under right part number & cut off
  • quantity
  • Clearing of incoming material jointly with SQA. Root Cause analysis & QC deviations to be raising/approval from QC. 
  • Early intimation & Final confirmation of ECN parts being shipped by supplier & received at Ather. ERP/JIRA updating of the parts, closure of JIRA bugs related to Electrical & Electronics parts. 
  • Issue PO as per ECN, update of system stock as per ECN/ECR.
  • Handling RTV of rejected parts
  • Lesioning with Quality, Engineering, Production on daily basis for running the line
  • RCA on Quality failed parts & support quality to get supplier responses
  • BOM cost reduction activities
  • Ensue Procure to Pay cycle is complete on each of the materials
  • Arrange for material pickup & dispatches in coordination with logistics team/suppliers. Work with cross functional teams like, quality, engineering, production, Program, finance, logistics etc to get the work done.

What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?  

  • Understanding of engineering concepts & processes
  • Good understanding on EMS & Electrical parts manufacturing process both conventional & non- conventional manufacturing
  • Ability to communicate within cross functional teams internal & external stake holders
  • Knowledge of different suppliers wrt various aspects of NPD for a given component from a
  • strategy point of view
  • Ensure Improve Acceptance % of Received material in close coordination b/w Quality &
  • Supplier
  • Improvement in Delivery Lead time- (ONTIF)
  • Supplier Score Card Input - Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service

What should I have graduated in?

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering.
