At Ather we designed, built and launched the 450 - India’s first intelligent electric scooter. As we expand our presence across India and widen the range of our products, we will need a strong digital media team that defines and executes Ather’s digital strategy. And that is where you come in! You will lead our digital initiatives - right from building the Ather brand online in our own unique way, to building awareness without annoying people. Of course, you will also have the freedom to decide what we do and how we do it (“Facebook? What’s that - XYZ is where our customers today are!”). You will apply your analytical skills to each and every aspect of the role - from constantly experimenting and iterating across channels to building a predictable and dependable pipeline online. For execution, you will be able to depend on an external agency but you will provide strong leadership on where they should put their efforts and how.

What will I be doing at Ather?

  • Owning the media plan - what to do, when to do, how much to spend!  
  • Adopt latest innovations in media to build Ather’s brand
  • Managing all deliverables of media agency - media buying, social analytics, media strategy
  • Monitor brand metric in digital medium
  • Guide the creative team by analyzing the performance of creatives across mediums
  • Build internal knowledge of best practices by medium, content, TG


What kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?  

  • First hand experience in media planning (media planner or implemented media plans as a client) 
  • Experience in managing digital media in a B2C company (preferably a smaller set-up with 1 person heading all media) in the immediate past or working with an agency prior to the B2C company
  • Experience in Google analytics


What should I have graduated in?

Preferably a degree in Marketing/Digital Media. Anyone with passion and skill for this role is free to apply though.
