Your role at Ather

  • Design & deliver technical training programs to service technicians, product specialists production associates & engineers.
  • Create training schedules and classroom agenda across different mediums (ILT, e-learning, webinars, OJT, blended) incorporating adult-learning principles.
  • Determine the overall effectiveness of the training programs and make improvements.
  • Support the ramp plan for new city launches by arranging for and conducting on-site training.

What skills and experience you should have?

  • Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc
  • Exposure to complete automotive mechanical components like frames, powertrain, braking system, suspension, bodyworks, diagnostic systems.
  • Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAE) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM)
  • Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other)
  • Practical experience of having worked on drilling, milling, lathe & CNC machines.
  • Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar)
  • Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (Matlab, Excel, LabView etc)
  • Experience of having used/ trained repair/service tools and measurement instruments
  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable addressing/teaching large groups.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities would be a must
  • Great communication skills - written and verbal!

What should you have graduated in?

  • Engineering in Mech/Automobile/Industrial/Mechatronics is a must.
  • Masters/Certification in learning and development, training would be preferred.
