What is the duration of the battery warranty?
Battery warranty coverage depends on your scooter model, generation and any extended warranty you may have purchased/bundled with your vehicle. See the warranty page for details.
What is covered under battery warranty?
Ather Battery ProtectTM (extended battery warranty) will provide replacement or repair of the batteries that are damaged due to manufacturing defects, workmanship errors and if the battery’s State-of-Health falls below 70% (with respect to ather algorithm) within the coverage period. This is free of cost inclusive of labor charges.
What are the conditions under which warranty will not be applicable on the battery?
Damages caused due to customer negligence (except for deep discharging of battery cells due to the vehicle being in idle state). Any modifications/alterations made to the battery will void the warranty. Deletion or alteration of VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) and BIN (Battery Identification Number) would not be covered. Situations such as theft, abuse, accident, flooding, fire etc. are not covered under the plan. Battery's natural wear and tear or any physical damage in parts & conditions is also excluded.

How can I extend my battery warranty?
Ather owners can purchase an extended warranty on the battery in the first 60 days of vehicle purchase. The purchase can be made by contacting the CS on 7676 600 900.
