Vehicle Warranty FAQs

All Ather scooters come with a standard warranty of 3 years or 30k kms whichever comes earlier.

All vehicle parts (excluding wear and tear parts) are covered under standard warranty. The detailed list of parts and their warranty period is available in this document.

All wear and tear parts such as primary belt, secondary belt, brake pads, etc; electrical components like bulbs; rubber & plastic parts; consumables like oil, grease etc.; tyres & painted parts  are not covered under standard vehicle warranty. They may or may not have warranty.

Ather owners with Propack can purchase an Extended Component Warranty on the vehicle in the first 90 days of vehicle purchase. The purchase can be made from the Ather App or by contacting the CS on 7676 600 900.

While your vehicle’s warranty is designed to protect you from failures caused by manufacturing deficiencies, it can become void in scenarios including:

• Missing of periodic services as recommended in Ather’s service schedule
• Using your scooter for commercial purposes like taxi, fleet, motorsports or goods delivery, etc (unless otherwise provided in a special agreement)
• Damages due to overexposure of the vehicle to harsh external factors like industrial pollution, acidic environment, moisture, sun etc.
• Parking or riding in water-logged roads with water above floorboard level
• Loading the vehicle beyond defined load limits
• Any damage caused due to an external impact

Extended Component Warranty (ECW) is a protection plan offered by Ather that covers key electronic and mechanical components of the scooter, like the motor, controller, charger, dashboard, and wiring for 5 years or 60,000 km. It provides damage protection with zero repair or replacement costs and cashless claims.
