He has over 10 years of experience in the electric vehicles sector. He attended the CEO Forum (Quai d'Orsay) in Paris, France in 2023. He has received the ‘Jagdish Khattar Rising Star’ award from Acko Drive, the ‘Young Entrepreneur’ award from the All India Management Association, the ‘Keep Walking’ award from India chapter of International Advertising Association and Walkers &amp; Co, and was named in the list of ‘India 30 under 30’ by Forbes India in 2018 and in Fortune ‘40 under 40’ in 2019, 2021 and 2023.

He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a co-founder of Thought Arbitrage Research Institute, an independent not-for-profit research think tank working in areas of corporate governance and sustainability. He was also associated with Price Waterhouse &amp; Co Chartered Accountants, LLP, and Lovelock &amp; Lewes, Chartered Accountants as Partner for over 16 years. He was engaged as an expert on corporate governance by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in matters relating to future of corporate governance in India, was engaged as a consultant by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office, MCA and was a member of the Task Force to lay down the Criteria for Selection of the Strategic Partners for Various Platforms from the Private Sector Industry. He has over 25 years of experience in governance, policy and audit. Currently he serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of PB Fintech Limited, Eternal Limited, Zinka Logistics Solutions Limited, Hero FinCorp Limited, Shiprocket Limited, Paisabazaar Marketing and Consulting Private Limited, Resilient Innovations Private Limited, Blink Commerce Private Limited and as Director on the Board of Thought Arbitrage Research Institute.

Mr. Vivek Anand is a finance professional with over three decades of diverse industry experience in FMCG, Telecom, Paints, Consumer Healthcare and Real Estate. He joined Hero MotoCorp in March 2024 to spearhead the finance function.&nbsp;&nbsp;He has worked with Hindustan Unilever Limited, Unilever Singapore, Unilever Bangladesh, Telenor, GSK and DLF. In his previous role as Group Chief Financial Officer at DLF Ltd based in Gurugram, Mr. Vivek instilled a culture of performance into the Company and was instrumental in driving growth and profitability while steering the Company to an all-time high market cap of $27Bn (3.5x growth in 4 years).&nbsp;&nbsp;In his earlier role, Mr. Vivek was part of the lead team at GSK Healthcare during India's largest business divestment in the consumer sector valued at $4Bn. This involved divestment of HFD business to Unilever, involving sale of heritage brands like Horlicks and Boost sold in more than 20 countries.&nbsp;&nbsp;A Chartered Accountant, Mr. Vivek has significant experience in Indian and international markets with a strong acumen in Finance, Treasury, Mergers &amp; Acquisitions, Corporate Planning, Investor Relations, Tax Planning, Risk Management and Information Technology.&nbsp;&nbsp;Currently he serves as Director on the Board of HMC MM Auto Limited.

We are exploring battery chemistries and motor technologies that do not contain any rare-earth magnets which will aid our supply chain to be more resilient and less carbon intense, while also avoiding the negative externalities associated with mining rare-earth minerals.

Developing Technologies

Ather owners have collectively saved approximately ₹6.0 billion in petrol costs, and avoided more than 71 million tonnes of CO2 from January 2023 to June 2024.&nbsp;Our sustainable manufacturing initiatives include paper-based packaging, renewable energy, air pollution control and zero-sewage discharge.&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>We have adopted green packaging and reusable packaging such as water-based paper tapes, paper pouches, paper bubble, shredded carton waste used as cushion/fillers, velcro straps, biodegradable packaging sheets, and recycled paper. &nbsp;</li><li>13% of our current manufacturing capacity energy needs were powered by solar panels installed on-site in our Hosur Factory. &nbsp;</li><li>The implementation of ISO 14001 environmental management system has led to optimisation of energy consumption through various energy-saving projects.</li></ul>
